Surface mount downlights deliver all the directional, task-focused light quality of a recessed downlight without requiring any ceiling penetration — making them the essential solution for concrete ceilings, apartments, heritage homes where ceiling integrity must be preserved, and any space where cutting into the ceiling is not possible or not permitted. They sit on the ceiling surface on a compact base, with a profile that's far less intrusive than a traditional batten holder or surface oyster light.

At In2Lighting, our surface mount downlight range includes round and square profiles in matte white, matte black, and brushed nickel, fixed and adjustable (gimbal) versions for accent and task lighting, and integrated LED models with no globe replacement required. Sizes range from compact 85 mm face diameter fittings through to 120 mm profiles for higher output applications.
